Oh, fuck all of you fucking fucks who have fucked off with your fucking fucktastic takes of fuckery. I won’t fucking have it.

This is the fucking Stanley Cup final. You think they were going to hand us the fucking trophy on a silver platter? They are going to slash you, hold you, hit you and run you as much as possible. And you know why these fucking assholes are going to do that? Because even they know you are better. They know they can’t beat you on the ice, and it’s time for the Bruins to fucking take that shit from their cold lifeless fingers.

They’re not as smart as Bergeron, or as quick as Marchand. Not as creative as Krejci, and not with the drive to bring a cup to his hometown like Coyle. The Bruins are faster and more skilled. The Blues know this. So they bitch to the refs, and try to nail your defenseman at every opportunity. And they’ve won two games. Each of those involved the Bruins playing with 5 defenseman for at least half the game.

Remember when the Bruins lost Nathan Horton for the 2011 finals, and lost to Vancouver? Oh wait, that’s right you shitastic suckers, they won the whole fucking shebang and drank from the Cup. Chara may still play in this game, because he is an actual terminator, but it doesn’t matter if he does. The team wins the game, and next fucking man up.

So don’t bring that fucking fuckery to this game. Take you’re fucking bitch ass attitude, drink some whiskey, and sack the fuck up for some Game 5 brilliance.

Just win.

The cradle of the game.
I won’t fucking have it.
And what I won't fucking have is that sorry excuse for a city they play for. Where the fuck does "Blues" come from anyway? "St. Louis SuburbRiots," maybe. Hell, even "St. Louis BackAlleyAbortions" is more to the point. I mean, "The Show Me State?" Just shut the FUCK up. I'll show you a bronze statue of a legend flying across your net at the exact moment you lose a championship. And for an encore, I'll show you a 6-9 Slovak, 5 pounds of wire in his mouth, hoisting a large cup-like trophy on your fucking ice. Go ahead and sing your fucking douchy Gloria to a playlist of Koji whiffing Carpenter, "Stabbed by Foulke," and some kid named Brady taking down the Greatest Whatevs on Whatevs.

You're not winning another fucking hockey game this year.

Bad news, St. Louis, you just knocked out the last slow, lumbering defenceman the Bruins have. From here on out, it's a defence that'll eat thunder and crap lightning. From here on out, it's frozen ropes through the neutral zone and past your lottery ticket goalie. No more fucking around, it's time to take what's rightfully theirs.

It'll never happen for obvious reasons, but I wish sports broadcasts were like PG-13 movies and they could slip a good "fuck" or "shit" in when appropriate.

Edit: but like, one a broadcast.

Christ, I forgot how bad that Schwartz dive was. And the Binnington one was positively Busquets-esque.

Yet their coach cries when they can't run around head hunting without impunity.
Some serious bullshit, wish a reporter would ask Berube if he was OK with the officiating last game and how exactly did such a big strong team become so selectively weak on their skates.

Has Cassidy said anything in response yet? Does he have a presser today?
He skirted it yesterday saying the refs go through a process to get to this point, and they're the best of the best. He'd hope they wouldn't be swayed buy what someone said.

I appreciate that Bruce doesn't get himself dragged into the muck on stuff like this, at least publicly. It's a bad look, and it backfired karmically on Tortorella - hopefully the same comes of Theodore Rex

(I'm not letting that go)

So, we can't say "nancy" anymore? I get it. I know we're trying to be better. Just such a synonymous word with hockey from my youth. It would (in a different world) seem like an appropriate time to bring this particular term to bear.

It's infuriating. The Bruins are the more talented team, so the Blues have to goon it up to compete, then when they get called for it and it bites them in the ass via power play goals, their coach whines about all the calls.

You can't have it both ways.

Honestly; pretty amazing the level of hate that's built up for me since this series started towards the Blues, their brand of hockey reminds me of the 1970's Flyers.

And the Blues ballwashing from the broadcast team jerks a knot in my ass too.

Run these assholes out of the building tomorrow night, enough is enough.

Good to see Grz at practice in a non contact jersey, cleared by concussion protocol. I he can play go with Vak as the 7th D.

Eh, I'm having a hard time building up true hate for STL. They remind me a lot of the 2011 Bruins just less talented and much worse in net. The 2011 B's beat you and beat you up and we loved them for that. Now if they keep up the diving I'll change my mind quickly.

Yeah I haven’t seen too much dirty either outside the Gryz hit, which wasn’t intentionally dirty IMO, more reckless. They’re just physical and chippy. Which is annoying to play against.

The after the whistle crap is annoying. Cheap shot punches, pulling players to the ice from behind by their head/neck, constantly running their mouths, just play the fucking game and stop with that crap.

And I had no idea Maroon was from St. Louis either, glad the broadcast team points that out every 17 seconds.

There is a consistent level of simulation from guys like Schwartz / Tarasenko / Binnington that I don't recall seeing on the '11 B's. That's where my ire for these shitbags comes from - they don't have to play like the late 2000s Habs, they just choose to

Going to be radio in the car for most of this one. At least they're actually playing for the fucking Stanley Cup, so fucking Stanley Cup Sirott can scream about every fucking Bruins goal like it just won the fucking Cup even if he fails to mention who the fuck scored, because they are actually fucking playing for the fucking Cup.

I agree on that point.

If Chara dresses you know the St. Louis goons will target his head so we will need an extra defenseman to sub in. To me this means no Chara.

The repeated running of Rask IS infuriating to me. I also am fairly upset that the Bruins (including likely Cassidy) have decided not to put a firm stop to this. Anyone crashing into Rask should be getting his head pushed against the glass and eating glove.

They’re fake tough with that bullshit. I loathe fake tough. Running the goalie and and the other bullshit (cross checking Backes when he’s on the ground after taking a stick in the face) is ridiculous.

Yeah. You can’t be tough and dive like they do. On the other hand, they are protecting their goalie more than we are. I’d like to see Maroon taken down like Backes was next time he slashes Rask 5 seconds after he makes a save.

Exactly. If anything, it will be matching, like Game 3 Chara and Maroon. As long as you’re not already down to 5 defensemen, do something. 4-4 probably favors the Bruins anyway, as evidenced by how terrified the Blues were to exit the zone 4-4 in Game 3.

Between here and everywhere.
So - if the fine denizens of SoSH had a choice, would you prefer Gryz or Chara back for game 5?

As much as it pains me to say it, I think the right answer is Gryz. The Bruins could use his breakout skills and speed, and I'm not sure the value Chara provides against this team is more important than the value Gryz would provide.

Samesies. Gryz has the higher floor at least, as in less likely to be involved in a play that gives up a goal.

Back at full health? Chara. But Gryz is likely far closer to useful.

The reports that Chara is playing G5 are insane to me... especially with Gyrz coming back.
I would be shocked if the NHL gave Grzelcyk the go-ahead for tomorrow. He's just practicing now, in a non-contact jersey, and hasn't even taken contact to determine if a gentle breeze would reconcuss him.

Should Chara not play, I go with Kampfer and Vaakanainen, sit Backes, and pray you get Grzelcyk back for Game 6 regardless.

I'm tired of hearing about how physical when all they really do is flop and dive and then whine about how unfair hockey is.

No more talking.

Let's just shut these fuckers up tonight.

5-1 Bruins.
