I’m not even pissed, I’m just disappointed that they did what they needed to do offensively and they got let down by the same guys repeatedly on defense and in goal tonight. When you are up a goal two separate times in the last 12 minutes, you need to win that game. Horribly disappointing for a team that won with goaltending and defense all year.

Lindholm has been completely awful all series, too. All of the defensemen have, with the exception of a few gorgeous passes by Orlov.

By game theory alone it is a ridiculously bad decision. Instead of giving the team a potential lift all he’s done is ruin Ullmark and keep Swayman cold.
If you told me they’d score 5 goals, I’d assume that’s an easy win. But Ullmark sucked ass and Monty wouldn’t make a change for some unknown reason. The Panthers benched Lyons and haven’t looked back.
They’re 1-2 at home in this series. I have zero confidence they’ll play well back in Boston. Home ice playoff play has been a problem for them for YEARS.
I can stretch and give you Forbort. But I can't imagine Sweeney and Neely aren't fuming Ullmark is still in net.

Luckily if the B's can get out of this series and win the Cup it will be forgiven, but in the moment he needs to prove he can adjust
