Just wanted to say that if you folks were trying to juice me up with all these posts, it worked. I'm vibrating slightly at this point.

Wife reminded me today that while I trim from time to time, I started my beard at the beginning of the playoffs* and haven't shaved since.

*The last time the Bruins won the cup.

Just getting home. Looks like I’ll be sending another few hours stewing in my post workout sweat like Game 6.

I’m a greedy man by nature, but damn I want this championship too.

Wife takes care of baby zoso and had a helluva day. Called my sister in tears before 10am. We just did bath time, me in my bergy sweater, and she gave me a hearty GO BRUINS as I left to come downstairs while she takes care of bed time. She’s from St. Louis.

I’m a lucky man. And I love the bruins only slightly less than my wife and child.

Play like champions. Win the cup. Hold the line. Stay the course. Protect the civic. Strap in everyone.

LETS FUCKING GO!!

Lurker shamelessly posting for membership. It worked for me a few years ago, but I only got the important part (the win) and most have been missed when attendance was taken.

McAvoy is from Long Beach, Long Island. Heh. I had a house in Long Beach for years. What are the odds a kid from Long Beach is starting in Game 7?

In the 70s we had The Spaghetti Emporium in Harvard Square. It took hours to get a table, the food sucked, and the place didn't last long--but its best feature, the St Bobby Orr stained glass window, was preserved and for many years was a fixture at John Harvard's Brew House. In the mid 00s, my son and I visited St Louis to see a Cards game, and afterward looked for a place to eat in Laclede's Landing. The only place we could find was called The Old Spaghetti Factory, which turned out to be clone of the old Spaghetti Emporium, right down to the interminable wait and the lousy food. But it had no stained glass windows at all, not even Stan Musial or Noel Picard. Point Boston.

Attention all lurkers: If you post in this thread and the Bruins win the Cup, I'll promote you to a full fledged member. Applies to any/all lurkers who have already posted in thread.

We did this eight years ago for Game 7. Good things happened. So it's happening again.
Yes please! Go Bs!!!!!!
