Oh, Boston for sure, but there’s another problem: their division. Buffalo and Ottawa both look like they’re on the upswing. Toronto’s not going anywhere, and may now be a different team now that the first-round burden is off their back. Florida may have just needed this season to get used to the big changes they made this offseason. Only Tampa may be waning, and even then, they’re in a comparable position to the Bruins, maybe a little better even. Only Detroit and Montreal look like dregs in the Atlantic next year.A core of Pastrnak, McAvoy, Lindholm, Zacha, DeBrusk, Hall, Coyle, Ullmark, Swayman, is going to win a lot of regular season games next year. They’ll probably be in the same position that Florida was this year. Who would you rather be right now? Boston or Pittsburgh? How about Washington? Islanders?
