My daughter was born in May 2011, and we watched every single game together as we won the cup, well actually I watched every single game in total silence as I pushed her stroller back and forth willing her to stay asleep while I could make a peep.

Now shes 12. We can both scream tonight in victory. Shes my good luck charm since she was born Boston Sports has won aboiut a Billion titles.
Heres to a Billion and one.

I just dropped a Xanax. I reserve them almost exclusively for public speaking and air travel, so like four times a year. But here we are.

This season has been a wonder, a sustained clinic of determination, grace and skill rarely seen in this, or any, team sport. It’s been a privilege to have witnessed as much of it as I have.

But I want more. Starting right now

Finish checks. Put puck on net. Put your body in the lanes. Get in the fucking corners. Take a hit to make a play. Don’t try for a hard play when an easy play is there. If they are going to stand in your crease make sure they feel it and hear footsteps next time.

Handshake game here. Fill ‘em in. The goals will follow, boys.
