There was no need for that to happen from a Liverpool point of view. Just see the half out. But no, you hand momentum to Spurs. Stupid.

Brutal wind and rain- several fans have told the announcers that it’s worse than the weather that got the derby cancelled 2 weeks ago
Went to the match this afternoon. I have no idea how the weather was a couple weeks ago, but it was absolutely miserable out today - wind chill of 19°, and wind gusts up to 50mph if I had to guess. Still an amazing experience and glad I could make it!

I'm a Chelsea fan and sat in the visitor’s end - our crowd was loud all game long but the rest of Goodison seemed pretty quiet from where I sat. Talked to a couple Everton fans before the game and they seemed excited both for the new owners, and also to have the keys to the new stadium. I first stopped by Anfield just to go see it and then walked across Stanley Park to Goodison - which was a bad idea because of the weather.

This was always the match where having 1/5 starters across GK and the backline (with the one starter being the worst defender of the bunch and exhausted) was gonna really show up for Spurs and so it did.
