Adrian, Phillips, and Kabak. That insures me holding my breath for the next couple of hours.
Don't have to hold your breath if you're not expecting points out of this

McGoldrick a stride offside, good save Adrian but can't hold it - chaos is on the cards

Was that Jones on the back post? Extra touch ruined the chance

Another really dumb free kick to give away by Thiago

If McBurnie gets knocked out of a match for something a shin guard would have prevented, so I have to feel bad for him?

Speaking of youth soccer coaching points... McBurnie wears the smallest possible shin guards because... He doesn’t wear any in training and they don’t feel right in a game. Imagine if Messi or Ronaldo figured out how much better they could be with smaller pads!

California. Duh.
I still can't believe SHU left Brewster out this game. If you aren't going to use his speed against this combo of center backs and keeper, why have him there?

Yeah well I don’t care. Screw Fulham and their pedo statue. And I say if the players can scrape enough points despite Steve Bruce as manager, then it will have been well earned.
Screw Fulham and their cake eating fans. Newcastle fans deserve so much better, but so do the neutrals who have to watch The turgid football Bruce provides.

Spurs team for Fulham: Lloris (C), Doherty, Alderwerield, Sanchez, Davies, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Bale, Dele, Son, Kane.

Whoa, Mourinho is doing this super-weird, highly innovative tactical gamble of ACTUALLY PLAYING ALL HIS BEST PLAYERS AT THE SAME TIME.

Well, except for Aurier and Reguilon.

First goal came on Bale launching the counter to Dele, who found Son, who got it back to Dele for the goal while Kane sucked the defense's attention away from Dele in front of the goal. It was beautiful.

Oh boy. One of the worst VAR overturns I've seen and one of the worst handball calls you will ever see. Fulham have their equalizer wiped out after the ball hits the hand of a Fulham player, who basically had his hand jammed in his pocket.

I mean, what is handball anymore? Lemina's arm is down by his side and he's a couple yards from the defender

edit: I guess if the ball strikes an attacker's hand in an attacking buildup, it has to be given, but that seems ridiculously harsh

It's an absolutely awful rule. It is not an awful overturn.

Spurs just going to sit back and wait for Fulham to equalize. This should be good.

Harry has missed two sitters in this game. If Fulham equalizes that is really going to sting.

Tuchels Chelsea is like having Van Gaal back in the league. Not the same shape but formulaic turgid play with no joy or possibility of delight

Another mockery of the offside rule line drawing simulation experience rules out the only exciting thing that has happened in this match

Im happy Liverpool aren’t down 0-1. I still absolutely despise VAR and the stupid lines and angles trying impossibly to be perfect

Amen. I'd feel bad about it if Liverpool hadn't had 3 goals ruled out this year for the same reason, but it's garbage to watch week in and week out

Great finish Mount, not sure what Fabinho's playing that far off him for, but he did have to cover for Trent being advanced - that right there is why Liverpool are stuck going forward and defending in a nutshell
