Clifton's stick tipped it. I don't blame Rask for shifting left to right there given it was one-on-one and where Jenner's momentum was taking him.

I was mentioning to a couple people before the series that David Savard was playing like a #1 for CBJ during the Tampa series - he's continued that, outstanding work by him so far. The chances will be there especially for line 3, just got to pot one and the goals will start coming.

I'm the biggest Rask guy on here. He should have had that save. Brutal one to give up.
I am too, and agree. To see a goalie that far out of the crease and still see the puck go in without even touching a post means he just overplayed the guy coming across and was off on the angle.

We deserved better that period. Glad we are getting pucks on net instead of too many passes trying to make the perfect play.

Disheartening after taking it to them most of the period. Finish up the PK and then destroy them the rest of the second. Post won’t save Bob again

This. Even a red hot goalie is susceptible to a tip, deflection, screen...keep getting pucks to the net

What are you talking about? The Bruins have had a ton of chances this period, they just didn't convert them, despite hitting post and some incredible saves.
They've had chances, sure, but the Columbus D is clogging everything up and controlling the tempo particularly on the PP. Top line looks mediocre which is also a credit to Columbus D. The B's simply aren't generating enough consistent pressure.

Bruins are on pace to put up 36 shots.

I don't have a great eye for this stuff, but DeBrusk has been invisible to me for a couple of games now? He's such a force normally with his hustle and aggression. Not as bad as Pasta at least

He’s been noticeable when he’s been out there, but they are limiting his minutes. I think he’s hurt.

Their D is super impressive. They don’t give up much and rarely make a mistake and when they do you got to get it past a hot goalie. Kind of reminds me of the 2011 Bruins.

This is just a WAG from me, but I think the initial Kadri hit broke a rib or two, and he’s been limited since.

Was about to complain about Bjorkstrand going after Krug, then Coyle bearhugged someone coming back down the ice
