Completely agree. It's amazing that the team has turned around in that department so drastically since 2011. From the 2011 collapse through the debacle of the 2012 season culminating in the Trade, the team just got more unlikable. And it afflicted the entire organization. Then you had last season. I absolutely loved this story when I saw it this morning. Having guys like Pedroia (who is firmly ensconced as my favorite all time Red Sox) and Victorino just makes the team a pleasure to watch and root for. You also get the sense that their attitude permeates the clubhouse. Ben and the baseball operations folks have done a hell of a job putting this team and the organization together. When you have this kind of team and a fantastically deep farm system, it's just a great time to be a Red Sox fan.
And being a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan gives me an amazing ability to appreciate successful, competently run sports teams with likable players and bright futures....
