Now that your problem is solved, I'm curious: are you not pissed that you had to make an additional purchase to do something so basic with your Nexus, something you should be able to do with the plug and cable that came with it?

Stuff breaks. It sucks, but this sometimes happens. I just got a little unlucky is all.  

Honestly, I'm actually more relived the $25 dock made it work versus having to go buy a new $200+ tablet as I have other toys I really want to buy.
