I don’t want to see that stupid ponytail on this pitch. He’s going to get caught offside three times and rip one off the post instead of giving Mo a tap in. I’m done with this joker.
God he’s terrible at hitting the target.
Just fuck off, Darwin,.
Can't believe Nunez is out there, and that Trent is still out there.
I understand Slot’s public support of Darwin, but it can’t extend to matches like this.
Just wanted to put these all in one place.

Don’t care. He’s still shit. He scored a tap in, then made a bad play to take it off Salah’s foot for his second.

Brentford got what they deserved for wasting time and playing negative football.

I thought Chiesa was off for the second. Never got a good replay. Glad it stood.

And Darwin nearly gets another yellow stepping on an ankle.

Strong disagree on this, I thought Brentford had some glimmering chances and were good for 1 if not 2. Can't find much fault with the 4 added minutes, I did not see much grassrolling. They approached it positively on the counter and almost got a result, my $0.02

Agree with you. Mbuemo had some dangerous chances all second half but kept running out of gas and had no finish

These Arsenal warmup tops are borderline offensive to the eye. Adidas has been killing it but… Woof. Leave the 90’s in the 90’s.

DCL with some fancy footwork in the box! Everton have been the aggressor so far, certainly earned that. A fine start.

Now DCL fails to tame an excellent ball. Should have buried that, too.

Now Everton collect a post. They need to make the most of great chances.

3-0 now and it doesn’t flatter Everton.

Not sure if you can see the crowd in the back of these shots, @OCST, but they’re ebullient. Goodison might start levitating off the ground if they score 5.

Oh yeah. I can see.

they’re singing Moyes’ name. There was a vocal anti-Moyes group of fans, either they still resented his actions on the way out of town when he left, or they thought he was Dyche redux stylistically.

His lineup changed have been effective and he’s given them license and a plan to get forward. Simple stuff. But this style and score line don’t manifest in this game under Dyche.

I am sad.
the injuries are brutal but I strongly believe that yhe demands of ange-ball make it more likely that players get hurt and stay hurt. One year of MASH unit is bad luck, two years running is a consequence.

Spurs are gonna end up firing Ange and I can't really see how that's going to help
Agreed. They should just focus on Europe and the cups and let Ange try to further build the squad. They will be getting guys back over the coming weeks. They’ve shown signs of being good when healthy. Give it a chance to ride some ups and downs instead of trading out managers and burning through transfers.

Agree with you. You have seen that he's capable of producing a team that plays at a very high level. That he can't manage a mash unit is not ideal but I think Spurs would be better off riding it out as I don't know who is available that has the same upside. I wasn't a huge fan of his hiring at first but I think if they stick with him he can come good

If we've learned anything about Spurs in the past few weeks it's that Dragusin is not good enough for this level right now. He's been a huge problem both in and out of possession. The drop-off from Romero/VdV to him has been enormous.

I would donate a significant amount of money to charity to see one of Spurs or ManU be relegated this season.

Looking like Brighton are gonna get all three points at Old Trafford. Turn up against Liverpool, wet the bed against Brighton.

Richy with a poach at the back post in stoppage time and Toffees hang on for the 3-2 win.

Nervy after the first Spurs goal, but still a solid performance.

Are anybody investigating Inter for the fee they got for Onana? What an absolute fleecing for an utter fraud of a goalkeeper.

There was no easier grift in world football than selling Ten Hag a guy from his Ajax teams over the past few years.
