The only thing worse than interviewing a player while he is in the middle of a play is keeping the segment going when the lapel mic isn't working and we can't really hear what the player is saying.

This is a disaster of a segment.

I’m out. Piling gimmickry upon gimmickry is worse than random channel surfing.

Oh good, can't really hear Cole or Fried in the dugout either. Top-notch broadcasting here!

fake edit: guess I'm in the minority, but the varied audio levels are torpedoing any positive aspects of this. Is it just the L.A. station that's having these mixing issues?

actual edit: I seriously can't hear anything any of the players are saying. Do I need to make an ENT appointment?

Same. I've got my surround turned on, don't know if thats doing it. I'm also watching the oversaturated 4k broadcast.

Maybe. I am having trouble hearing it, but I'm getting most of it and I'm an old lady.
