That was a weird trade:
The San Diego Padres have agreed to a three-way trade, pending physicals, that would land them Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Wil Myers, a source confirmed to ESPN Insider Jim Bowden.
In the deal, which includes the Washington Nationals, San Diego also receives catcher Ryan Hanigan, left-hander Jose Castillo, and right-hander Gerardo Reyes from the Rays.
Heading to Tampa Bay is right-hander Burch Smith, first baseman Jake Bauers and catcher Rene Rivera from the Padres, and outfielder Steven Souza and left-hander Travis Ott from the Nationals.
Washington will receive right-hander Joe Ross and shortstop Trea Turner as a player to be named later on June 14.
I remember Burch Smith from his days at Oklahoma. He could hit 100 on the radar in those days, but he lacked control.
These stupid uniforms have taken over the whole event. No idea who anybody is or who they are with. Just one big joke.
Myers had a slow start with TB, remember? In the end that looks like a pretty bad deal. Isn't Trea Turner also knocking at the door for the Nats?
Pretty sure everyone would rather Stanton/Trumbo just have a best of 3 based on distance at this point.

I know the balls are allegedly juiced for these things, but how much difference do you think it makes? Stanton's longest tonight were an absurd 497, but he has hit the ball 490+ in games before. Honest question.

Well, you needed tbe sound so you'd know when the ball got hit since the camera work was such shit.
It was not a good presentation. Directed like a music video. It was difficult to watch, the whole video game look and feel was tough but whatever, grabbing a new demographic.
I think Aaron Boone has improved, but the twerp still comes out too often.

Not gonna lie: this All Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game might be more entertaining than the Derby.
You must have missed the Derby from two years ago then (or maybe it was last year?) where you never saw the trajectory of the ball. They lingered on camera positions in front of the batter.
It may seem shocking but this was much better than recent years.
They really need to get this event under 2 hours.
