I still try to watch what I can. I know they're gonna lose, but I want to see the young guys develop. It's still football, and this team has given me so much. I can't complain about one losing season in 20 years.

I do hope, of course, that the losing ends quickly. I don't want 2-5 (or more!) years of this.

For me the frustrating part of this year is not seeing quite enough of the young guys. If you’re gonna lose do it while getting the young guys snaps. But ultimately in BB I trust.

Yes I agree. I have been dying to see Stidham and Wino and Uche more.

Agree completely. Truthfully, the 49er game was the point I kind of thought this team was going nowhere. Despite a couple of good moments since(Ravens and Chargers), I wish they had committed the rest of the season to getting experience for, and evaluating younger players. Rather than the slog of watching Cam getting rolled out there every week, hoping against hope for a playoff spot.

The more frustrating part is that there are only a few young guys on the whole roster that are exciting to think about watching develop. Harris, Enwenu, Winovich, Duggar, maybe Uche. Not sure who else.

J.C. Jackson and Jake Bailey are 2nd year young players. It’s been quite a year when your punter is one of your most exciting players to watch.

Forgot Jackson. Yes, someone in the last game thread made a fantastic joke about putting the ball in the hands of our best player when they punted on 4th and 2.

Poll closed, but I'm probably down from 75% to 60% or so, but mostly due to the fact that my daughter's soccer games have overlapped more than usual

I never really remember not watching the Pats after age 15 or so. I used to go to games whenever I could even when they sucked, including some in some real dark eras of Pats football. I had season tickets from 95-07 and only missed one game in that time that I caught on TV at a family wedding. I have watched every single snap over the years through bad times and good and dont plan to stop any time soon. If I moved back to the northeast I would be right back to attending every game.

I watched about 50-60% of what was available over the air to me in Oregon, which works out to well under 25% of the total.

A completely meaningless game will be played tomorrow and I’ll likely watch it all, with perhaps the occasional flip to see how the teams fighting for a playoff spot/seed are doing.

It’s the last Pats game for 9 months, so that makes me sad.

I watched less than in year’s passed but that’s only because I bailed on a couple of the blowouts at the end. I watched at least half of every game, and all of probably 12- 13 of them. I love the NFL and the Pats are my team and have been for 40+ years, It’ll take a lot more than one down season for me to watch significantly less.

That’s said, It’s the only sport I really watched this year (other than some NBA because my son loves it) including pretty much no baseball at all. I said I wasn’t going to because of COVID, and for other sports I just couldn’t get into caring given everything else going on in the world. But the NFL has me hooked on their product like it is crack despite all of its warts.

I’ve watched every game but the second Miami game and I listened to that on the radio. I’m a fan thick and thin so the record of the team is not going to affect my viewing. It’s helped that in September and October I was home every weekend.

Yep.

But then, this should be one of the most interesting offseason in recent memory, yes?

Well tomorrow is our Super Bowl so we have to watch.

ED also would be nice to end up with at least as many wins as the two “New York” teams combined, as usual.

I've watched every snap of every game, even if I missed some of it live I've gone back to watch it during the week. Part of the fun of following sports is being keenly aware of how much your team sucks when it sucks, so the fact that they're bad isn't really an impediment to me. The thing is I surely won't be scheduling my weekends around this team if they put something resembling this year's offense on the field in 2021. I'll obviously still watch, but I won't make the same level of effort to do so. This was painful.

Watching almost as much today as the whole season (like 1.5 quarters, ha). Bored in the house, tired, and rooting for a loss. Oh well.
