Sorry if this is not worth its own thread, but the ICC is getting off to a pretty cracking start with Galaxy v. Club America. The first half was end to end, high energy, with a few amazing bits of technical skill. After a week of clutch, grab, ankle kick of Gold Cup this game looks like they are going 400 m.p.h. These teams are definitely taking this thing seriously, at least 45 minutes of the way along.

What's the deal with the Pan Am games teams? I think it's U22 for men, but how did those teams qualify?

Top four from the CONMEBOL U20 qualifying and the top team from Central America and the Caribbean in the CONCACAF U20 qualifying tournaments.  Canada and Mexico qualified automatically.  The US hasn't entered in forever.
