Pretty rad thus far, at least for a casual emailer like myself.  The ability to pin and snooze various emails is useful.

EDIT: Not optimized for iPad yet, FWIW.

Little red button lower right, should be a golden ticket icon under the reminder icon.  I had to refresh it once before it appeared.

I guess I don't have any?  I don't have an icon between Reminder and Compose.

Close the app or the desktop window and then reopen, that's what I meant instead of refresh.

It is good. Unfortunately it doesn't yet work for the Gmail account that I use all the time - my apps account.

Also - am I missing something? Why are people spelling out their email addresses?

Sent all my invites earlier, hopefully more will pop up.

Switched my work account over yesterday, and my personal today (using my first invite).  In both cases went from having thousands of messages piled up over the course of years to having the sunny blue sky.

I really like the sunny blue sky.

Today I've snoozed separate messages to 10/31, 11/17, and 12/15 when they will prove useful reminders for something I need to do.

The bundling in the inbox has let me start seeing certain messages that I used to have to filter and remember to check, but they were too frequent to receive individually.

Of course there's a bit of company kool-aid drinking on my part, but big win for me so far.

I've used gmail since early beta days and honestly don't see the big difference with Inbox (I haven't used it, obviously). I have thousands of filters set to block spam and I have a great label system for organizing important things. What's the significance?

I literally deleted 200 filters today and have no need for them anymore.  Deleted most (definitely not all) of my labels as well, the ones that are left are things that I want rolled up (bundled in Inbox parlance) into one item.

I tried just installing the app without having been accepted. Not surprisingly, no loophole :p

So, if there are any spares floating around, I'd love one. smccue dot gmail

Interesting. My inbox issue is I get A TON of wrong email because my address. Newsletter sign ups, receipts, legal docs, whatever at least 3 a day. Maybe it can help.

If anyone has invites I'm at my SOSH username can.... @gmail. Thanks.

I'd think that it will put them all in one place, but not eliminate them if they're legit but just misdirected.  Don't really know the answer to that.  A lot of my filters were just putting store mailing lists in a folder and now they just auto get put in a label and that gets rolled up and I don't notify on that label which is what I was hoping for.

If you have invites there will be a little golden ticket in the popup menu when you click the compose button, and you enter addresses.  I burned through my invites earlier today, maybe I'll get more sometime.

I gave my 3 invites to the first 3 here who asked- I (and others) got ours by requesting one here: http://www.google.com/inbox/

Upper right hand corner.

So I requested an invite directly from Google on Friday, but still haven't received it. Those of you that have gone this route, how long did you have to wait? I'm perfectly fine waiting on it. Just curious.
