My first game in about 10 years and my son's first ever. I scored ridiculous tickets on SeatGeek... There's even a special entrance? Should be interesting. We're close enough to the dugout for Yoshida to hear us do his old Orix Buffaloes chant. Maybe he'll find it inspiring.

What a neat idea. Wonder what it sounds like, but too busy to search for it.
In any case, have fun! (Selfishly, I reckon if y'all are having fun, I will be too.)
Geaux, Sox!

Here you go!

What seats are they, @cardiacs ? The ones near the grounds crew are VERY cool, and sound like the ones you are talking about.
They are dugout box seats, and I am supposed to go to the Ford Clubhouse to get there. This is all new to me. I woke up this morning and checked prices on a lark as I knew I had Cardiacs Jr to myself this afternoon, and jumped on them since they seemed super close and less than 100 each.

Truly great seats. Not sure why you have to go to the Ford Clubhouse to get there. That is the old ticket office, it's been a club with lots of different corporate names over the years. I think it was the Wheel's Up club a few years ago, and it has had some alcoholic beverage names, too. If your tix include the food/drink there, enjoy! But make sure when you actually enter the stadium part to go to your seats, that you come in on the ramp near Grandstand Section 21 (Field Box 43 or so) to get the full affect of all that green when you see the field and walls

This is good advice! I can't wait to see my son's face.

Looks like rain will also stop for you like 95 minutes before first pitch
Good timing

Gotta be honest here; huge pet peeve; when players answer a question from the media with "Yeah;..." Just answer the damn question. You don't need to affirm the question.

Not here
Is Papelbon going to be there the whole game? I ask because he's an idiot with an annoying voice.

It's gotten old already and still in the top of the first. Who thought this was a good idea? He makes Millar look award winning.
