Would have preferred Tolliver or Hill if they wanted a second CB just based on opposition but I haven;t watched any Western Carolina games.

Hill is a Will Hill type attitude. Even if hes good, he wont last in the league.

Ok Im in man-crush with this guy now

JM: Why should an NFL team invest one of their draft picks into Keion Crossen?
KC: I’m a motivated guy. I love reading Tom Brady’s draft profile. He had all these negative things said about him. He was too small, he didn’t have a strong arm. There’s always something
That interview is fantastic. Going to be pulling for this kid hard.

Watching some Crossen tape today. Even though he's short (just 1/8 over 5'9"), his arms are long - 32 1/8." His arms are longer than Josh Jackson (by a full inch), Minkah Fitzpatrick, or Quenton Meeks, even though those guys are over 6'0".

On the other hand, his footwork is sloppy and his reactive athleticism is a beat slow, so he doesn't mirror nearly as well as his agility drills would suggest. He's great on vertical routes but he just grabs when guys change direction on him.

After doing five games, he screams Seattle CB to me - long arms, good in press, effortlessly stays in phase on vertical routes. His on-ball production was poor but his ball skills flashed at times.

His zone instincts were not good; too many cases where guys got behind him. He also struggles mirroring and gets grabby with cuts. He's kind of a press-only guy at this point. I'm not sure how much you can fix a lack of reactive athleticism or zone awareness.

But he is super-high motor. He'll take on OL; he doesn't care. Plays bigger than his size. Good tackler, and very willing in run support. Big strong guys give him trouble, but he fights like a dog. And his physicality gets under WR's skin. I didn't see him play much ST (maybe just how the videos were cut) but he has the skill set and mentality to thrive there.
