Krejci is 38 games away from 1,000 in his career. I'm super glad he's going to have the opportunity to get there.

B's have a 1:00pm press conference scheduled for today. I'm not sure there's enough time for a pasta emoji tweet from the official account then an official announcement a half hour later, but we'll see!

Just catching up on this one... Krejci's my all-time favorite player and I am irrationally excited about this news.

Krejci says he made decision to come back a while ago, after consulting with Bergy and Pasta. He said he really wanted to play with them again. He also says he made up his mind to return before they fired Butch.

Krejci feels like he has a lot left to give. Sounds like this is not necessarily one and done.

Said his return to Czhechia was amazing. It was the fullfillment of a lifelong dream of his, to show his family where he came from. He felt like after his last contract was up it was now or never, and it would've been a lifelong regret if he didn't do it.

I kind of hope so. Assuming Krejci can still play, I think Bergy does a better job of making DeBrusk better and Krejci would light it up with Pasta and Hall.

I think it is the best way to maximize both DeBrusk and Krejci.

Agreed. It’s a lot more akin to the Cup winning 1a, 1b line configuration, too.
