Good career. I loved that at 37, 38 and 39, he was just good enough to make the MFY think they had a very solid No. 2 and just old enough that by the end of the season he'd fall off.

I thought the same, but if you look at 2012 and 2014 I would argue he had the better second half (k/bb ratios increased substantially, opponents slash lines/OPS decreased). Really solid pitcher, especially at those ages and commitments (one year deals his last few seasons).
