Well I'd say...

Nesmith was the guy they kept.
Romeo was the better fit now.
Nesmith is the better hypothetical fit.
Neither seems likely to have much of a role, Romeo was closer but is gone.

On paper, Nesmith the 3pt sniper is a great fit. Realistically, Romeo the defender and mediocre 3pt shooter was better, because Nesmith right now appears to have no NBA skills since he forgot how to shoot.
Post White deal, Nesmith may be a better potential fit if he gets the shooting solved. Maybe.

This is not particularly good btw for an NBA player. Kris Humphries used to shoot 85% from 3 in practice too. Every single NBA player kills it on 3s and FTs in practice.
I presume that it has something to do with the type of shots being taken (all in one spot versus all over the court, etc.). However, Udoka said it like it meant something plus we know that AN holds at least one Cs practice shooting record. Which is a long way of saying, I'm pretty sure that AN's shooting stands out in practices. Too bad he can't hit some in games.

Maybe AN is like alot of my friends and Me when we play pool. We are way better after 2 drinks. (and way worse after 3.5)

He just needs to relax. He just plays panicky.

How much is Nesmith's regression due to the coaching change?

He hit his stride, last year, being an energy guy, playing D, getting dunks, and putbacks.

Can't he do that for 6-8 minutes a game, again?

Romeo is a very solid rotation-level player, but I don't think he gets much better from here.

There were several plays during the season where Romeo had the ball top of the key and another gut at the wing was cutting to the basket, but he failed to see them.

Romeo really doesn't have the court vision to be a handler at the NBA level, nor will he get the chance to develop such skill.

I like Nesmith, but it is really hard to see him surviving in the NBA considering how low his Basketball IQ seems to be, and isn't uber-athletic enough to cover up for it.

You don't want any of those players in your playoff rotation.

I always imagine Brad Pitt as Billy Beane, "If he's a good shooter why doesn't he shoot good?"
