I didn't see anything about the practice squad, and new threads are good, so...

Withthe signing of Vinny Sunseri and Mike Hilton (ex-Jacksonville), the Pats have a full practice squad roster. As of now, here is the full complement of 10:

I've gotten three requests for access to the embedded sheet. One looks to have come from a SoSHer, harder to tell about the other two. I'm happy to share access, but can you please PM me before you send a request via gmail? Thanks!

People are requesting it because they can't see what your list is. Just a button to request access.

Ah - thanks. I followed what I thought was the new Tablizer approach - still a few bugs in the system, I guess

Not many guys make an impact on the big squad, though that's to be expected. '07 gave them Connolly, '08 Wendell. Not much else, other than Ventrone ('10/'11) and Develin ('12). I assume contributions in practice (e.g., each play run by a PS player is one less play - and therefore injury chance - that a main-squad player isn't in on) are valuable, though.

Ashworth and Gorin both started Super Bowls, IIRC

And don't forget Eric Alexander, who started an AFC Championship Game against the Colts.

Chris Barker is on his way to become the next Ross Ventrone. His transaction page list 20 transactions with the Pats, although one looks like a duplicate (they say he was signed 2x in Feb of 2015.) Long live, Mr. Barker!!

I'm not seeing why this has any meaning to news regarding Lewis. They ran into RB depth chart issues last year, Gaffney is an able body and if he's willing to go back on the PS, great. WR is the only position more thin right now.

Given the franchise they're playing for, this thread's title could be "On the Edge of Glory".

Gaffney doesn't really provide much RB depth in my eyes, because he's always injured. Missed 3 games as a sophomore, took his junior year off to play baseball, drafted by CAR in 2014 and tore his meniscus in training camp (=> IR), was IR'd in August last year - injured again - and was IR'd this year too, although was waived with an injury settlement and just re-signed. He's the definition of a low-probability / high reward bet, where if he gets healthy again and shows his 2013 senior-at-Stanford form he could be a standout. But the odds are very low at this point.

I'm just rooting for Woodrow Hamilton, because his name sounds like a President.

That's 12 players, not 10 (which I thought was the PS max). Thank you for providing the link because I checked there first, and they list the same 12.

I figured there must be some obvious exception that this falls under, but I can't seem to find it. So what gives?

I thought Johnson was gone, but didn't know whether the limit was 10 or 12 - thanks for the update. Maybe ITP should give a nudge to pats.com!
