Three straight treys for North Dakota State, and now a bucket down low as they've opened up a 9-point lead on the road at rival South Dakota State.

Gonzaga played like they had something to prove tonight.  5 players with double digit scoring while keeping BYU to 40% shooting.  I like this team a lot better than the one I saw lose to BYU last week in Spokane

exactly my thoughts, very excited!  Not just for these players, but all the alumni who have been dissapointed for years.  This will be huge for getting the campus involved in NU sports, alumni connection, recruiting for athletics, etc etc.  Huge.

If they can play like they did for the first 36 minutes, they may have a shot at pulling a game out.  Will be interesting to see what seed they are, but 2 weeks straight of people talking about NU sports can only be good for the future.
As an alumni I love it. Putting 20 on them in Vegas to win it all. Anything can happen!

Bad night...taking BYU lightly....looking ahead to The Dance. Whatever the reason that was a throwaway game to me in judging this team. The Zags are for real and have the pieces to go the distance this year.

ESPN streams all their games online... they have the ACC tournament among others.
Thanks, watching Missouri/South Carolina right now. Was just curious if any of the smaller conference games were streamed anywhere as I did not see any showing up on the ESPN app.

Many of the small-conference games are streamed via the conferences' and/or teams' web sites. Some require subscriptions. Yes, you'll need to hunt for them because preparing a list would be exhaustive, but that's what Google is for.

In other news, UMass looked like shit in the first half vs LaSalle. Completely unsurprising -- and uninspiring.

They have fits of competence and then just fall asleep. Its maddening.

Michigan beat Illinois 73-55. Zak Irvin led the way with 14 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. His game has really come around and he's been a much better all around player the last few weeks. Aubrey Dawkins added 18 points on 8/12 shooting and MAAR added 15 more. Michigan plays Wisconsin in the noon game tomorrow.

That basically bursts Illinois' bubble chances.  Great news for teams like Miami, Indiana, Texas A&M, and maybe even the Mighty Racers of Murray State.

Condolences to DrewDawg as Old Dominion loses its C-USA opener, 59-52, to 6-seed Middle Tennessee. That unequivocally bursts the Monarchs' already-tenuous bubble.

Fire Rick Barnes now FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY.

Whatever, I don't even care as long as he is there to fuck up.

Go SFA.

Notre Dame was up a pile on Miami but can't make anything in the second half and Miami has chopped it down to six.

and tied

I'm going to be furious if Notre Dame doesn't cover after that halftime lead. Luckily, the stand around and watch Jerian Grant offense is starting to click.

Notre Dame is fourth in Ken Pomeroy's adjusted offensive efficiency and they didn't score a field goal in the first twelve minutes of the second half.

Ole Miss down 3 to USC.  Hits a 3 with 3.3 seconds left and a foul called!  Marshall Henderson going crazy in the crowd.

Free throw is good and a 4 point play takes the lead.

And the Gamecocks are fouled on a wild off balance 3 attempt with 0.7 seconds remaining.  Converts all 3 and South Carolina pulls the upset.

Michigan loses to Wisconsin 71-60. The Wolverines were competitive for most of the game and even led in the second half. Wisconsin's size proved to be too much to handled for this undersized Michigan team. The Badgers finished with 12 offensive rebounds and had a 32-19 advantage on the glass overall. Tough loss, but an expected one. It's been a disappointing and frustrating season, but I'm optimistic about what we may have next year. Irvin really picked up his game at the end of the season. He's going to be The Guy next year.

Holy fucking shit.

Davidson escapes after trailing La Salle for all but 18 seconds of this game, and by as many as 18 points. They toss a layup off the backboard that bounced around atop the rim like a TPiR Plinko chip for the final 3 seconds before dropping in for the winning bucket.

I was 100% convinced we'd see a major A-10 upset in this game, but instead it's ten straight wins for the Wildcats.

* Kentucky up by just 2 on Florida as the 2nd half gets underway.

* SMU trailed East Carolina 48-44 with just over 14:00 to play, but the Mustangs scored 10 straight. Again the Pirates battled back and were tied 64-64 with 4:00 left, but SMU goes on a 10-4 win to escape.

Coach McKillop is a master.  If he was at a Power Five school, we'd be talking about him like we talk about Coach K, Roy Williams, Jim Calhoun, Jim Boeheim, etc. as one of the best and most successful coaches of all time.  He hit the jackpot with Steph Curry, but I've been following his teams for over a decade and he is one of the best.  He finds talent at literally every corner of the globe and makes it fit into his system.

From then on it was all Wildcats and they win by 15.

Elsewhere, Penn State up 11 on Purdue with 1:21 left in the half. VCU-Richmond & Memphis-Temple are tight battles so far.

Yale sweeps Ivy League Player (Justin Sears) and Coach of the Year (James Jones), but those are going to be pretty empty awards if we lose tomorrow.

Speaking of which, it's a 4 pm EDT start. NBC has the rights but they're not putting it on NBCSN due to prior commitments (Premier League GoalZone, some fucking equestrian competition, and the Volvo Ocean yachting race).

Instead, it's on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (CSNBA), which is offered nationally but typically on a tiered subscriber package. However, it'll be streamed on ESPN3 and it also airs on NESN Plus where available. Other local outlets in NY and the mid-Atlantic states will probably be doing the same, so check your listings.

A near-brawl broke out between LSU & Auburn. Some shoving but no fisticuffs as the officials got it under control quickly.

It's on in DC, but buried on one of the digital sub-channels for WJLA (Channel 467 on Fios).
