Between here and everywhere.
He stops moving forward and moves to his right before the shot. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars go straight to jail...
I think it's a good goal. The lateral move is (ever so slightly) towards the net. The rulebook only states "must keep it moving toward the goal line." As long as that lateral move is not parallel to the goal line, good goal.

We don't have a good angle on the lateral move to see if his right skate actually went directly lateral or did he angle slightly backward as his left came back and he pulled the puck back out of the crease away from the beginning of the pokecheck from the goalie. Cause the puck, his left leg, and his upper body movement all went backward on that move.

Used to be able to do that in NHL 20. Dudes would fly into the 12th row.

Love that they kept playing. Totally clean hit, but a lot of games that would have ended up with fisticuffs.

Did Dach's skates leave the ice before the hit? Can't quite tell.

Seeing guys go ass-over-teakettle like that always makes me nervous - Malarchuk, Zednik, etc.
