Jaylen Brown did it a few weeks ago. That's why I think Smart did it yesterday. I'm sure Jaylen originally did it because of the Shaq thing though.
Yeah, I remember that. Must be why Jaylen was so quick to join the celebration last night, which I thought was absolutely hilarious.

It’s great as a celebration because it’s ultimately sort of humble: “How did I do that?” The hand had an agency of its own.

If you don’t love Marcus Smart, I don’t think you’re really from Massachusetts. He’s a direct descendent of Russell-Cousy-Heinson-Bird. Dude just wants to win so badly.

I love Jaylen and have so much respect for his intelligence and integrity. But I never thought he was *funny*. Marcus’s reaction was funny but Jaylen building on it was sublime.

I feel like Marcus is a close relative to Marchand, Pedroia, Edelman, and a few others. Guys who must annoy the fuck out of opponents fan bases, and get under the skins of their opponents, but are actually really fundamentally exceptional players.
