Not the point because Arsenal have been dominant, but I still cannot believe Partey was not carded for that deliberate handball to stop a counter.

A very weird half in which Spurs have been thoroughly outplayed and yet the goals have come from a goalkeeping howler and a long-range strike.

The commentators are mostly right that Conte’s tactics are not working. Spurs’ play in possession has been particularly disappointing.

The one advantage to having 3 CBs is that you can deny the opponent good shots in the box, which Spurs have mostly done. But if you’re going to concede so much territory you can’t make any defensive errors.

Spurs have been so much better this half. I don’t even see any major tactical changes, they’re just playing better.

They just try harder in the second half it seems.. Arsenal have still had some pretty good chances this half as well.

It kinda comes down to Ramsdale having a good match and Lloris having a dogshit one, in the end.

Not even close to Arsenal today.
Ehn, possession was relatively even , Spurs had more shots on target in the end. Ramsdale saved a number of good shots, Hugo let two quite weak ones in. XG stats are gonna be fruuuuatrating for this one on the Spurs side.

Do you think Spurs would open up and attack like that if they weren't two goals down? I think you are probably right about the xG stats, but game state is going to have something to do with it.

Yes, they were sedate in the first half and opened the throttle in the second half even in the Palace match when they didn’t go behind. I don’t know why they do this, but they do this and it appears to be independent from the going behind thing which often happens as a result of this dogshit.

Liverpool-Wolves rematch about to start with Liverpool starting mostly backups. The ESPN crew is so much worse than Rebecca and the guys. They spent the 10 minutes or so since I turned it on seemingly personally offended that LFC wouldn’t start their best despite what they’re going through
