Still getting over that challenge. How does Paulson not even blow a whistle on that? i get they can’t show us the replay and I don’t want to see it but so nuts that Paulson was “play on”.

Having watched the replay, looks like the ankle rather than the leg.

I don’t actually think it was a red, I think they gave the red due to the outcome, similar to Son vs Everton.

And now they're saying that the red came from an on-field decision. So he didn't call a foul initially but then gave the red based on the result.

I think Pawson established early he wanted to let them play. It almost bit him when Mo was fouled and Leeds nearly scored in the ensuing break.

I don’t mind the approach, but I think he’s been spooked. No matter how he was calling this one that would have happened.

Burnley was up 1-0 through the first hour of this one, then Everton scored three goals within a span of six minutes. And the way it’s going, Burnely will be lucky if it’s just three.

listening to Martin Tyler and Andy Townsend discuss win probability was quite the loop
Andy Townsend always seem to be lost when discussing xG and xA on The Analysis Show

edit: also Ornstein's prematch update on Newcastle was a bit sad. Steve Bruce at Newcastle seemed easier to root for than Steve Bruce at Hull

The 718
Doucoure, Gray, and Yownsend were massive as they have been all season

Townsend goal was stunning, my jaw dropped

Townsend will shoot into Row Z a million times, but once or twice a year he nails one of these.

The 718
Doucoure also hit a BLAMMO against Southampton in the opener

Doucoure, Allan, Townsend, Gray have been the engine of Toffees success so far, DCL has been good but 2/3 goals are pens, Richy is erratic, defenders have been meh, Digne looks off, Coleman looks old, notwithstanding his powerful header for the first goal tonight Keane has been awful,. Pickers has been all right. But it’s the middle of the park, long our soft underbelly, that’s really getting it done.

Crazy stats I heard on the ebullient Crystal Palace podcast (5 Year Plan) today: that was the first time in Harry Kane’s career (at least PL) that he neither had a touch inside the opponent’s 18-yard box nor a shot on target.
