Hey, well congratulations then to Mike Hazen. It may not be ideal to inherit the fetid swamp that is the Diamondbacks organization. Nevertheless, it is a big promotion, and a deserved one. He has risen through the ranks here with aplomb, and would seem to have the requisite abilities to perform the duties of GM. A bit of a loss for the Sox, sure, but that is the nature of the industry.
