I've made my thoughts on the Pat's helmet color/design known time and time again, but looking at these I think I have landed on the fact that I like prefer team helmets that have white as a base color, particularly a white cream base. I am thinking of all the alternative or older helmets that use a white base:
Pat Patriot > Flying Elvis
Bill Parcells era Jests > any of that Gang Green shit
Dallas throwbacks > silver
Bill's current > red
Rams white horn > yellow horn
Broncos "Snowcapped" alt > regular
Chargers current > 1990s navy blue
Browns alternate white w/brown and orange stripes >>>>> all orange
Bucs creamsicle > pewter (barely)
A few notable exceptions:
Oilers baby blue > 1980/90s white
Eagles green helmet with white wings > Eagles green wings on white helmet, though new style helmets with face mask that have bars over the brow are pretty good. On the 1970s Eagles helmets the green wings look like accentuated eyebrows
Bengals orange = white; I prefer white over orange, but the we may as well call them the Zebras when they wear white helmets with black stripes.
