The Sox, Yankees, Cubs, and Dodgers will be represented in the exhibition. Johnny Gomes will represent the Sox. Nick swisher for NY. Geovany Soto for the Cubs and Adrian Gonzalez for LA. There will also be a superstar and wild card representing each team. The Sox superstar is Paige Halstead, UCLA softball player and the wild card is Liv Cooke. Cooke is a football freestyler. Whatever that means.

Not sure how sending over has-beens plus ::checks notes:: content creators is going to, uh, grow the game.

I'd really like to see them tour more regular season games instead. This event seems bizarre especially in South Korea and Mexico, where baseball is doing really well.

“ As part of the new CBA, MLB has committed to playing games (or "tours") in Asia, the Dominican Republic, London, Mexico, Paris, and Puerto Rico. ”

Edge Yankees

Thanks for 2013, but I have interest in seeing Gomes again in any capacity.

I don't anticipate watching any of this.

Hitters will get to swing at 25 pitches and take up to 10 of them, with the opportunity to earn points by hitting targets placed 160 feet from home plate and two beyond the outfield fences, similar to the mini games in the legendary video game MVP Baseball 2005. Opposition will have players in the outfield and can earn points by catching baseballs that don't make it over the fence.
That game ruled.
