Didn’t see a thread for this.

Just a heads up for those who are like me and learned to love the game on another level because of watching Jr. His rise cane during the dark days of Red Sox baseball so he was the perfect distraction from the woebegone days of Carlos Quintana and Randy Kutcher.

Man, that swing...

It already aired last Sunday. It was well done. Jr. still holds a grudge against Steinbrenner and the Yankees, so that was a fun little part of it.

Related, if you haven't seen the other thread about the History of the Mariners, you should drop in there and watch that series. It is incredibly well done.

I didn't even know this was out. I'll be checking out asap because like every kid during that time, this poster was prominently featured in my room (and it came with Frosted Flakes which is a double win).

I watched it and thought it was great. Junior was my hero growing up. In all the years, he's never done anything to change my perception of him.
