California. Duh.
Barca blew a 3 goal lead and drew 3-3 with Celta Vigo. Iago Aspas, the owner of possibly the worst corner kick in Liverpool history (and who's name still makes me giggle like a 12 year old), scored 2 of the goals, including the equalizer deep into stoppage time.

First I’ve been able to see of Spurs and it’s looking like it might take a while. One of the difficult things of playing a back 3 is that if teams sit off the CBS all the free men are the other center backs. Spurs have plenty of the ball but can’t connect anything forward to feet mostly just passing between Hojberg and the back line without being able to penetrate

Spurs look a new team. Not a polished and refined one, but quick and full of intent. Harry Kane even broke a sweat.

I just saw Tosun's name listed among Everton's bench players for this match. I haven't been able to pay much attention yet this season, so I didn't know his loan spell had ended. And now I don't know which feeling is worse: the realization that Everton simply can't get rid of these players, or the realization that I was actually relieved to have him there as an alternative to Rondon.

All Reguilon had to do was redirect Kane's cross as he didn't need to put anything on it.

Other than Son and Kane is their anyone who can score for Spurs? Dele?

“Everton feel a sense of injustice” is a commentator sentence that fits into most matches at most times.

why was Saka's goal offside? There was clearly a defender ahead of him before the pass. That defender isn't the GK, who was out of position.

I haven’t seen it, but there needs to be two opponents between the player and the goal. One is usually assumed to be the goalkeeper. If the goalkeeper was ahead somehow, there should be two Watford players between Saka and the goal.

Offside rule is 2nd opponent player and the gk counts. It’s just not usually relevant because keeper is in his goal

edit: the more interesting part to me is whether you could say a keeper touching the ball with his hands is a type of back pass. It’s weird that the goal is ruled out due to a keeper making a save so far out of his goal but this is definitely how it is called

I broke down and shelled out for YouTubeTV’s 4K package. I am absolutely stunned every week by the one match I get to see in 4K, but more than that, the framerate improvement is incredible. The ball never skips or skitters. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for that comment, I was wondering if there was a noticeable difference.

Either call the foul right away or play advantage. What was the point of waiting until Oxlade-Chamberlain had wiggled through traffic and then blowing the whistle?

This is beyond incompetence. Pawson has been a disgrace.

Liverpool also have been a disgrace, don’t get me wrong. The organization at the back has been disastrous.
