Spurs ball movement still looks good. Pop's beard makes him look like Sean Connery from Hunt For Red October.
Excellent start to the NBA season and a sign of what should be a gritty season in the Western Conferece. We got some vintage Manu, TD still making defenders miss on the block, Dirk putting in the impossible, and Rick Carlise probably deserving a nobel prize for lassoing in Monta Ellis into a very good team player.

Is there any place where I can wager on the number of teammates that Kobe strangles during the '14-'15 season? Its going to be a non-zero number for sure.
Kobe comes in with the Lakers down 19 and 9:30 left in the fourth. The ball gets passed to him after just one LA touch and he proceeds to throw up a hero-ball brick from just beyond half-court. I expect we'll see that play around 400 times more this season.
I just tried to watch some of this game after watching spurs mavs. Didn't even look like the same sport. Davis is incredible, I agree with that.Mugthis said:

I liked Kobe's post game comments also. 'When did this league get so soft?' Since the Paces/Pistons brawl I would say.
Kobe is the ultimate fake tough guy. He makes these comments because he knows nobody will risk the suspension. He was never tough at any point.
