Well, they’ve rattled AD out the playoffs both times they’ve faced him there, 4-0 and 4-1. Of course the first time was in 2015 when he was just a baby (and pre-Looney); and the second time, in 2018, they brought that Durant guy to make it an unfair fight. But they do both have a ton of experience doing battle with the Brow. He always gets his points, but they tend to make him work for them.
Dray and Loon are also both (knocking wood) looking really spry right now and playing their best ball of the year — anchoring a top 5 defense with literally no other bigs unless you count their 6’-6” 210 lb. wing with big heart, Juan Toscano-Anderson. If there ever were a time for a one-game killshot at the champs, it’s now, with both LeBron and AD still working their way back to 100%. It’s just too bad it’s not an actual killshot. I feel like even if the Ws somehow manage to topple them, they’ll right the ship against the crummy Spurs or untested Grizz; and then they’ll start regaining their chemistry and health and kicking ass.
And at that point it may be up to your Clips to lay down the hammer...
