Milwaukee as champs (based on the first 5 minutes vs Miami, not a great prediction).

edit: regrets after one game. I had thought of picking Dallas as the upset special and instead went Clippers in 7. Fine with that prediction -- they're the better team -- but wish I'd had the balls to pick the Mavs. And I actually thought I'd picked Portland over Den and a little disappointed to see I wrote Denver in 7. I would reverse that prediction: I think the Blazers will win the series given the Nuggets injuries -- not just Murray, but the wings being out really hurts their defense.

where I was last at
Seeing as the Celts are an unlikely candidate ABTL or 76er or Nets

I expect to be disappointed

After the Celts, I'm rooting for the Heat, I like the way they play ball.

How do some of you think Boston is going to win a single game against Brooklyn? Boston lost every game to them this season, and Brooklyn didn't even have all their studs together.

Harden reinsures hammy and Kyrie sits out in support of Palestine?

You guys can still post predictions even though we're a few games in, the sooner the better though.

Interesting that everyone thinks the winner will come out of the East.
The East was clearly the better conference this year, at least at the very top. The top three seeds are probably the three best teams in the league, unless the two LA teams magically get their stuff together.

Certainly not by record it wasn't. You could argue that Philly and the Nets are better than their record because of the time their lead players missed, but it didn't seem "clear" to me that the East was better at the top.

Yeah I’m with you on this. I’ve had Phoenix and Utah 1/2 in some order at the top of my power ratings the entire year. The Nets and Philly could have the most upside and the best potential but with injuries and other stuff they were at the top during the regular season. As far as the Bucks I feel they are built for the regular season and don’t have them as much of a playoff factor.

Wow. I hope you made a wager or two.
Alas, no. But again, I had very little faith in my prediction. I thought the “doomsday scenario” Lakers-Nets final was close to inevitable, because we can’t have nice things. But lo … we got a nice thing!
