Why in God's name would they put in UCSB - Creighton, and Baylor v. #16 in Lucas Oil?

Hysterical.

They’re cutting off half the stadium and making 2 courts in there. So it will not be as large of an area.
True, still heaps larger than the other venue capacities.

The moving team venues from 1st round to 2nd round will be interesting.

Why have they gone from a Thu-Fri, Sat-Sun to a Fri-Sat, Sun-Mon format? I know the first four is on Thursday, but they could have made that on Wednesday and had those winners be on the Fri/Sun track.

What's with the shift in the schedule?

COVID protocols
I don't see the connection. Can you elaborate?

Edit: I mean, I get that they are in a single city because of Covid protocols, but there's nothing about the protocols themselves that dictates a one-day move back for the first round. That's just a schedule adjustment based on whatever the NCAA (or, more likely CBS) says it is.

Looks like everyone except Louisville passed on the stand-by and went to the NIT. What happens if they need 2nd multi-bid conference team to enter? Please don't tell me Duke (not in NIT either!)

Can we have the games with the honor system reffing system? This would be awesome.
Call your own fouls, like pick-up. That's actually how they do it in college tennis (I guess except for maybe in the national tournament or whatever).

Watching Tom Izzo, it's not entirely clear to me why they even bother making basketball coaches wear masks (looking at you too, Nick Nurse). Even NFL coaches did a better job.

I go to GCU games all the time because it’s like 10 mins from my house and the atmosphere is sick. A 15 over 2 GCU upset would be fantastic

That shot to the nose was a KO in UFC. I can't believe that Florida guy was able to walk off. That was a lot of blood, very fast.

That was unreal. Colgate just completely unraveled.
Some questionable officiating mixed in, including the fine-able embellishment on Burns’s third foul - but that was ugly. They suddenly looked overmatched. Funny - if I hadn’t watched it and you told me Gate was down 3 at the half with no points from Burns I’d be thrilled. Hopefully they can reset/adjust.

Does anyone know why every game has a normal start time except Winthrop-Villanova starts at 6:57?
