That's the crazy thing about college basketball, they play balls to the wall to the buzzer even in blowouts. It's nuts. Why would you play defense in that situation....get a good 10 feet from every Purdue guy, let them dunk it and the game is over.
Christ even my alma matter Stonehill beat them 70-59 in late January and we’ve only been D1 for a hot minute.Fucking awesome - that’s a bigger upset imo than UMBC. FD didn’t even win its conference or conference tourney.
Edit: their last regular season game they lost to freaking Merrimack
What do they have against chicken?“Perdon’t” and “Perdidn’t” now trending on Twitter
it’s almost like guard play matters!Purdue has lost to a 13, 15, and 16 in the last 3 years. Um.
Nah, to be “Frank” I think you have it right - will leave my shame unedited. What do they have against chicken?
Should be Purdon’t and Purdidn’t.
Edit: or I’m missing a joke.
My OCD is kicking in to hyperdrive. Really need him to lose to a 14 seed next season.it’s almost like guard play matters!

15 or so miles between the two (FDU has a few campuses so I picked the closest)FDU is the new St. Peter's but upgraded.
Triangle of sadness.Between Princeton, FDU and Saint Peters last year... don't mess with a a big underdog from Jersey.
And they had to win a First Four play-in.Fucking awesome - that’s a bigger upset imo than UMBC. FD didn’t even win its conference or conference tourney.

Yeah this is the key. It's possible, before the play-in games, that UMBC would have been a 15 (often America East is). But when you take two 16s and move them to a playoff, one 15 moves to a 16.And they had to win a First Four play-in.
