Needing iPhone charging dock to replace bedside clock

My trust old clock radio finally died. I'd like to take this opportunity to get a device that I can use as a iPhone charging station so I can keep my phone on my nightstand instead of on the floor while charging overnight.

I'd be fine without a clock on the device I guess, my main need is the device to have its own power chord to plug into an outlet so I don't have to use the short lightning cable (the outlet is too far away for that to reach the nightstand, boo).

iHome has a bunch but it doesn't look like I can use with a case, which is a requirement.

Anyone have any recs?

IHomes allow you to use a case. Most of the recent ones allow you to either use the lightning dock or a USB (it has a built in USB) I assume you can charge it via the USB and just rest the phone on your night stand

Though if you want to play music from it you will need to use the lightning dock

I didn't know you could use an iPhone as a dimmable clock.
It drives me nutty that almost nobody makes horizontal Android cradles, as daydream mode is perfect for this (it's also dumb that Google named their new VR "daydream" when that's already the name of the alarm clock mode on Android phones/tablets).

Here's a lightning/iphone one that looks like it should work with a cradle:
