Between here and everywhere.
To me - it looks like Belichick is trying to turn back the clock to the 2001-2004 dynasty.

Mean, tough, physical defense. An offense than controls the ball for long drives and doesn’t make mistakes. A QB who can manage the game and not kill you while being accurate over the middle of the field.

With two TEs being the norm the vast majority of the time, it seems unlikely a FB will play many snaps.

I liked watching Book; what are his negatives that cause him to go way later than a guy like Mac Jones?

When does Amazon or someone give me the alt broadcast where I don’t need to watch any gimmicks and just a group of people covering the draft

I’m betting the Pats theme of drafting players from the same team will work out better than the Jets theme of picking guys with the same name.

Nobody Cares
CAMERON McGRONE!

Linebacker, Michigan

SMU_Sox's take: Cam McGrone. McGrone is athletic as get out and packs a punch. His issue is he needs more playing time.

Kiper says McGrone has looked like a 2nd or 3rd round pick, but has questions about durability. So if that’s his talent level, this is a steal in the 5th.

Liked what I just read about him. Most sites seem to think he has starter potential in the NFL and that he has a nasty streak and can lay some lumber.

They seem to have a lot of front 7 players coming into camp this year to battle for only a few clearly open spots?

This draft is back to form where we all expect good players at a position of need to get picked and then they take their guy regardless of position. I basically never learn to stop trying to guess at home.

Bruce Arians has an unnaturally white beard. Does he dye that thing white?

We are firmly in the true lotto part of the draft.

McGrone is a 20 YO RS sophomore, why would he have entered the draft? I wonder if someone advised him he would go much higher.

It appears McGrone is recovering from an ACL and previously had an ACL tear in the other knee in 2017. That’s probably how a guy with his talent ends up at the back end of the 5th round.

Seems like a real good draft for the Pats! Of course, we usually feel that way until the Cyrus Jones, Chad Jackson, Duke Dawson, Dominique Easley, etc. busts don't pan out. But all these choices make sense this year, and at least there 's no BB drafting guys three rounds before they are projected
