I live in NJ and, unfortunately, get subjected to Jets games. He looks completely cooked to me, pun not intended. No explosiveness anymore. It’s amazing how RBs just go from dynamic to JAGs seemingly overnight. Can someone explain what's going on with Dalvin Cook? I know he's 28, which is elderly for RBs, but he had over 1300 combined yards last year and 10 TD. He made the Pro Bowl.
He's still a decent RB but it seems like the Jets are hellbent on not using him at all.
He sucked to start the year (no pop, looked slow). He looked pretty good in the Raider game for the first time but the offense is a mess. Breece is better and the starter. Cook is the backup. If we could put together long drives he would get more work, but we can’t and we suck right now.Can someone explain what's going on with Dalvin Cook? They have a much better RB on the roster is part of it.... also Cook hasn't looked that good. Honestly in 2022 a lot of his success was just volume. Can someone explain what's going on with Dalvin Cook? No pop. None.He sucked to start the year (no pop, looked slow).
Yeah not great. I think I'd have to root for the Dolphins in that scenario, and then hope PHI/SF/DET smokes them in the SB.The prospect of two of the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Ravens meeting in the AFCCG….woof.
Especially to go play most likely Philly in the Super Bowl. Go Lions and Texans? I’m not even sure where to look for hope…The prospect of two of the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Ravens meeting in the AFCCG….woof.
It's why they should move the trading deadline, honestly. So many injuries. Why not make it after Week 12? By that point the bad teams also truly know they're out of it.That's seriously a drag. With the Pats out of the picture, the Bengals were my AFC adoptee.
I just hope Burrow comes back 100% healthy next year.
(And it's kind of a pisser that the trade deadline is passed. With half the AFC North QBs going down, maybe we could've gotten something for Mac. Or maybe not.)
Yeah same. Mostly since the other options aren't great and I like Joe when he's cooking. Big loss for the league overall since he's on of the few dominant QBs when healthy. That's seriously a drag. With the Pats out of the picture, the Bengals were my AFC adoptee.
Lions, Texans, Jags I guess.Especially to go play most likely Philly in the Super Bowl. Go Lions and Texans? I’m not even sure where to look for hope…
Pardon My Take is must listen on Mondays for me but they are going to do a whole segment on Flacco coming back to the NFL - now they are an absolute must listen. Because Flacco is coming back to the NFL!

Is Rodgers really coming back this quick?
What an absolute piece of shit.https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-aaron-rodgers-tells-jets-171722322.html

What's the point really in doing this now? Seems several weeks too late. And the move should have been to bring in Flacco and hope he could steal a few wins. Are you buying any Rodgers returns in December hype?I don’t get how it is not Simien
I don’t want Rodgers behind this oline unless we get guys back. We are likely out of it leaving him no choice anyway. What's the point really in doing this now? Seems several weeks too late. Also, if you look up Boyles stats, they’re very bad. But, more impressively, his college stats are even worse. I’ll admit, it’s a small sample. But to underperform the starting qb at a non-power 5 school is impressive.I don’t get how it is not Simien
Without Andrews, the Chiefs defense should be able to easily stop the Ravens. Picking between the two of them in the AFCCG makes me want to vomit, and I don't think Miami can beat either of them in the cold in January. That's seriously a drag. Zach was better this year in how he looked to me (footwork and accuracy on easy throws). The oline this year is a mess. I hope Zach goes somewhere that allows him a chance. It’s so over for him here. Zach threw a ball yesterday that hit a guy in the hands and Nantz said it was a bad throw. Romo criticized Zach all game and then Boyle comes in and the truth comes out, no one open, no time to throw. Funny how that worked. Barr Scott who is no Zach fan even killed the oline last week. Zach should go try to be 2nd or 3rd string where there is great coaching. So Zach Wilson is Ryan Leaf redux (except when Manning and Leaf were up in the draft there was actual debate on who should be the # 1 pick). So very sad.
For some reason, Boyles's stats from his "redshirt senior" year at Eastern Kentucky are missing. They're not much better:Also, if you look up Boyles stats, they’re very bad. You did, and he said Garoppolo was from Boyle's school too. Romo just rolled with it, "we played in the SEC of the midwest", or couldn't remember himself.I was half-paying attention to the end of the dull Bills/Jets game, but I thought I heard Jim Nantz try to tout Boyle as another NFL QB from Eastern Illinois (like Romo), when he went to a different school, and was generally mediocre.
Matt Cassel too.Tim Boyle's college career saw him throw 12 TDs to 26 Ints. He was 8-22 (and even then in looks like in a bunch of wins he threw 1-4 times...garbage time?). How the hell did this guy get on an NFL team? It looks like he was a legitimate horrible college QB.
Cassel basically just didn't play, he wasn't terrible on the 33 attempts over 4 years. You could at least argue with him that he was stuck behind 2 different Heisman winners and top 10 NFL draft picks, so no way to know if he was any good.Matt Cassel too.
Boyle's pro stats: 73-120 (60.8%), 607 yds, 5.1 y/a, 3 td, 9 int, 50.9 rating
So yeah, no idea how he's got an NFL job.
Probably overdueSteelers fire Matt Canada
Pittsburgh was 29th in points per possession and 30th in yards per possession under Canada. The Steelers were 28th in total yards and 28th in points scored in Canada's three seasons.
Some of the story, and I’m not defending this, is that Hackett recruited him out of high school when Hackett was at Syracuse. I’m not sure if Hackett was with Packers starting in 2019 and I think that is when Boyle hooks up with them as an UDFA.Tim Boyle's college career saw him throw 12 TDs to 26 Ints.
