I have to say, it’s getting to the point where I’m sorta rooting for Hackett. There’s a been a ton of dunking on him but I like that his response has been to admit when he’s wrong and try to get better.

This is of course balanced by being annoyed by Russ, and general distaste to the Broncos in general.

Please don't be on the beach please don't be on the beach please don't be on the beach...

To add and not just be a drive by post, I can't remember the last time any of my friends and I watched the pro bowl. Flag football doesn't really intrigue me either, but I always loved skills competitions. Those are pretty fun.

My real question is will this make players more likely to not skip the festivities like other years? I would hope that they don't all skip en mass like when the actual game was played.

Myles Garrett in single car accident.

All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett and a female passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries as the result of a single-car car crash in Medina County on Monday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed to 3News.

The accident occurred on State Road just south of State Route 18 in Sharon Township as Garrett was driving a gray 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S. The 26-year-old Garrett was on the right side of the roadway when he lost control and his vehicle overturned.

He’s basically asking, unknowingly I suspect, why Jordan Poole has not pressed charges against Green.
I'm not entirely sure of CA law, but I dont think a victim has to "press charges." The video is enough to arrest Green, even if Poole was dead. (Not saying that Green should be arrested).

Anderson has been on the block and was in danger of being released after getting the boot yesterday so doubt the return was anything of value regardless of the Hollywood news. Still solid move for Arizona. Adds depth at least.

I doubt so too, but it's still smart, CAR had a little leverage given that Anderson costs a new team almost nothing, could have held out for a bit more if they knew ARI was a bit desperate.

Edit- for example if I were CAR and I knew Anderson was going to a team that just lost it's #1 WR and only real deep threat, I'd ask for a draft pick escalator based on PT/performance, that I probably don't bother with if I think he's going to a team with Brown and Hopkins locked into the top spots

I agree it's smart. No reason to announce it beforehand. I was just pointing out the flip side. When you kick a guy off the sidelines, other teams know you will be eager to move that player.

It took nearly 12 months, but it appears the NFL has finally figured out who will be footing the bill for the $790 million settlement that the league made with the city of St. Louis last November.
According to ESPN, the NFL's 32 owners are set to approve a resolution Tuesday that will call for Kroenke to foot the bill for $571 million of the $790 million settlement. The rest of the money will be coming from the NFL's 32 teams, who were somewhat surprised earlier this year when they found out they would be contributing to the bill. Back in May, the NFL deducted $7.5 million from each team's revenue-sharing payment, and the league used that money to help pay the settlement.
The teams were surprised to lose that money because most of them were expecting Kroenke to foot the entire bill for the settlement. The issue has been a contentious one that has been hanging over the league's head since the St. Louis settlement was originally announced Nov. 24.

In the days leading up to that settlement, Kroenke had sent an email to the NFL making it clear that he did not expect to be paying the entire bill. Since St. Louis was suing all 32 teams, Kroenke threatened to reach his own individual settlement with the city, which would have left the other 31 teams out to dry.

More importantly for Amazon, it will encourage a whole bunch of people to stay home during the day and (they hope) buy stuff online instead of hitting the Black Friday sales.
I would also think a big motivation is that people will sign up for Amazon Prime on or before the biggest shopping day of the year and will then decide to do a little shopping before the game.

Bears shopping Robert Quinn. His numbers are way down this year as offenses are keying on him in the absence of any other Bears' passing rushing threat - 1 sack, 1 tackle for a loss, 2 QB hits. But 18.5 sacks last season! He's 32 years old.

His contract moving forward - $12.8 this season, $13.9m ($8.5m dead cap hit) in 2023, $12.9m ($4.4m) in 2024.

Bears will have to send along a lot of $$$ to get anything back. They should probably give Quinn the green light to engage interested teams on restructuring his deal to improve his trade value.

Problem with Elijah is that they spent a #1 on Garrett Wilson and the offense has transformed a bit into more of a running attack with the addition of Breece. He's a good player. I hope they continue to not throw him the ball.

LOFL, I like this guy as a player but Jesus Christ, Jets put a beating on the Packers at Lambeau, 3 wins in a row, and Eli hits the world with "WHAT ABOUT MY STATS???" Does he think this looks good for him?

Are you willing to take Isaiah Wynn straight up? Both guys could use a change of scenery.
Don’t know Wynn enough. I said above but will reiterate, I think Moore is a very good player and I find this behavior strange. I hope they can work it out but I’m not optimistic.
