Kelce had 14 catches. The NFL playoff record is 15. If Mahomes doesn't get hurt, he gets it easily.

KC is an average, at best, defense. Trevor Lawrence looked like a guy with shitty skill position play, and bad offensive line play. This is what QB's look like in the NFL when that happens. 39 pass attempts, 214 yards, 74.4 rating. That's why I won't give up on a guy like Mac if you don't improve the people around him. And at least Lawrence has good coaches to guide him now.

Pacheco had 12 carries for 95 yards (7.9ypc). He averaged 4.9ypc this season. If Reid would commit to running the ball like a normal human being on occasion, and stop giving half of Pacheco's carries to McKinnon, Pacheco will be a pro bowler.

KC against either Buffalo or Cincinnati is a much more compelling AFC final than the Jaguars matchup would have been. This was a fun game and Mahomes‘ ankle will be discussed over the next few weeks as much as Shilling’s in 2004, for better or worse.
In all likelihood, he shouldn't have played on that ankle. We'll see how that affects him next week against Cincy or Buffalo. Buffalo in a neutral site against a hobbled Mahomes... I take Buffalo.

Hope Lane has fun on his torn groin
I had a very mild groin tear, I could mostly train with it. The worst thing was when I would have a minor slip on ice for example, it would kill. That seems almost exactly the type of movement that an oline guy needs to be strong in when in pass pro. I’m sure he is on some good shit and is a tough guy but this is a difficult task.

What was Strahan’s playing weight? He was 252 at the combine, but I remember him being bigger than that.
Articles I see have him saying about that (240-250) and that he isn’t actually lighter now, I think it’s bullshit. He looks smaller to me.

Pam Oliver is fantastic. I hate that sideline thing, but she’s a pro. Would love to see what she could do in a longer form announcing role.

I dunno, but that’s a liberal definition of ‘Northeast’ and I’m not sure I’ve heard of many who are torn as children between adopting the Eagles or Giants.
It’s a thing in parts of Jersey like RS/Yankees in CT. I only learned this when I had students from Jersey.

I think it was Albert Einstein. Princeton, NJ is the epicenter of the ten square mile area where children grow up in a quandary whether to root for the Giants or Eagles, assuming they can’t stomach the Jets.
