Is 70 yards too shrot for a drive youc an't respond to? Might be time to allow a response in the regular season, too.

Watching that drive it was crazy earlier in the game when the Lions used Gibbs instead of Monty and took like 5 plays to punch it in. Just use the hammer when it’s hammer time.

The Rams never play their starters any preseason reps and every commentator talks about how hard it is in the late stages of the first regular season game to stay conditioned. Rams were clearly exhausted on defense and just got blown up.

Y'all, I don't know about the Pats season upcoming, but as someone living in Cincinnati, I can tell you if I was a betting person, I would bet the Pats straight up, and certainly to cover. The Bengals are this season's Eagles without the benefit of a great start. If the owner were not so cheap, Zac Taylor would be the first coach fired this year and I would not be the least bit surprised if more Bengals ended up in court for crimes against one another than ended up on the Pro Bowl team this year.
My better half is not a sports fan, although she watches the news so she knows who the prima donnas (is it donnae) are on the Bengals. She was also convinced the Pats would win this game. Given the fact that I don't really like most of the human beings on the Bengals with whom I have come in contact, I have reverted to my childhood team as a second (the Lions of Detroit. I was hooked when I was a kid and saw Billy Sims karate kick a defender as he ran for a first down). She watched about five minutes of the end of the game and made this presient insight, "it looks like it might be better to spend some money on the offensive line than to spend it on people who don't want to practice and who die their hair to look more like Pete Davidson".

His QBR yesterday (9.4) is less then half the number of times he's been sued for sexual assault (25)

This is when I turned redzone off yesterday. I imagine the same was true for Mark Davis.

Somebody should've hired Brian Flores for the big chair - as he proved yesterday.
Maybe, but Flores' problems as a head coach had nothing to do with his ability to call a defense (much like how Josh McDaniels can call a hell of an offense but.....)

PFF QB grading continues to be just terrible
It’s not just QBs. PFF is a joke ass organization that should be ignored.
This would be a better argument if Daniel Jones did indeed grade out higher than Prescott. He didn't. Dax was 19th, Jones 21st this week. In any case, looking at these things after one week is like make a decision about a baseball player's fielding abilities after two weeks of data. No one seriously thinks that Jones is better (or close to) Prescott based on one game's ratings.

He graded higher for overall I believe (though PFF made adjustments after initial grades so maybe it changed), that chart is sorted by pass grade.

However, the general point is... PFF grade isn't changed week to week, it's a compilation of however many snaps you play. The idea that they watched Dak and Daniel Jones play football yesterday and their system said the two performances were close.... that tells you the entire evaluation system is broken (it always has been for QBs, their grading system is garbage at it's core and their interpretation of plays within that system is always inconsistent and dumb).

Agree to disagree. Take a look, for example, at how QBs (or other positions) graded out over the course of the season last year, and find the egregious errors. I can't.

I can’t imagine what you’ll be like before the Super Bowl.
it’s a true sickness. I am pretty good at compartmentalizing but close to game time is tough. I don’t get that nervous about actually doing extreme activities or public speaking or most of that type of shit. Somehow a football team that always loses could get me an RX for Xanax.
