Rams games are gonna be fun for neutrals... their defense can't stop anybody, but their offense is awesome

They were at the three. Plenty of room.

2.5 technically I think since it was HtD from the 5. But even then, you kneel, now you're around the 1 or 2... if they take a timeout do you feel comfortable you can kneel again. It's perfectly normal to run a running play there to see what the opponent does. There was no reason not to, does it suck Darrisaw got hurt,... sure, but he could get hurt on any snap, if it didn't happen no way anyone thinks it's dumb to run that play.

Gonzalez said the exact same thing(take a knee) at half time. It was moronic.

Yeah, it was dumb. Just take the knee. McVay only had one timeout and I doubt he wanted to prolong the inevitable.

Also….Kirk Herbstreit is terrible

I've had some awkward moments in my life, but none so awkward as Kirk Herbstreit pretending to give a single fuck about Fernando Valenzuela.

Vikings making a lot of mistakes in the RZ/high RZ.

EDIT - I’m partial to going for two this late in the game when the TD puts you up 7 (and 9 if you get it), but taking the XP is fine.

Kupp has to stay in bounds there, though I think he thought he was closer to the first down than he was and the pile washed him out to the sideline as he tried to sit.

But it’s probably a moot point since that punt was a missile.

Wow how the fuck did they miss that facemask?! But let’s not have that be reviewable or anything.

If anyone thinks that facemask would have been missed had it been Pat Mahomes (not "Patrick", Mrs. Mahomes, go fuck yourself), I want what you're smoking.

They really need to add authority to the eye in the sky to correct these blatant mistakes.
In the last five minutes these penalties should be able to get reviewed automatically (but not challenged).
15 yards changes the entire game there.

The Rams would be a much more fun team in the playoffs than the Seahawks, or some of the other NFC teams. They're like the Bengals of the NFC. If they get to the playoffs, the game is practically guaranteed to be exciting, no matter the opponent.

Something as black and white as face mask not being reviewable is so stupid. We can zapruder forward momentum under a pile of 5 players to determine a first down but can't review a guy getting his head turned 90 degrees with force.

Whatever happened to the effort to make obvious non-calls reviewable after the terrible non-call in the NFCCG 5-6 years ago that probably cost the Saints a trip to the Super Bowl?

The back judge was the only official in position to make the call tonight. He flat-out missed it. That happens. But particularly on a scoring play, there should be a way to make non-calls like that one reviewable without opening the door to review routine stuff like uncalled offensive holding.
