I don't think that's close to a catch, but the announcers clearly disagree. Hands under the ball is nice, but it seemed to be clearly moving around when he touched out of bounds.

Edit: I think he’s out looking at it again. But it’s called a TD on the field and I can’t see it being overturned with that replay.
They will say he never lost control, but I think he didn't meet that threshold.

They have given more leeway* in recent seasons for slight ball movement when guys are in the process of corralling it.

*When the refs feel like it, of course.

Denver just isn’t that good of a team. Their best win of the year was against the Bucs in late September. Credit to them for winning 10 with a rookie QB, but it’s not surprise they’re not a threat to win this.

But Denver conceded the game on the drive before. The defense knew it. And gave up like Payton did.
