Patience is what's needed sometimes. Cespedes doesn't have it, but he has other good things. Nice to see Duda waiting out all these balls.
Edit: Never mind, I will stfu now.

Duda is the key to this game for the Mets, to me - he should be the main power threat against Greinke, and with him hitting well the Mets lineup gets much much longer. If he's just striking out every at-bat, it creates a big hole in the Mets lineup.

I don't care how old he is - I want Greinke, maybe more than Price.
Same here. Definitely more than Price.

If you're going to go long (and big money) on a pitcher, I want it to be someone who can adjust and refine when they start to lose their "stuff" as they age. Greinke has that more than most from everything I've heard about him.

The main problem with him though is the dodgers will be back in on him big I imagine.

Rooting against the laundry for a one-year aberration is ridiculous.

Go Mets!
The sight of their uniforms is enough to make me puke. Unless they are playing the Yankees. I hope their World Series drought lasts for another century. Never forget 1986. And yes, of course it is ridiculous.

So why the hell did the Mets get rid of Turner?
They were saying Tuesday after the game that he was basically looking like a lifetime sub, or super sub. He started in that role in LA too, hit well when he got the chance, they needed a 3Bman, rest is history.

That looks like LA every time I drive through there!

Actually, one time, at 8:00 am on a Sunday, it was a breeze.
I managed to attain the speed limit on the 101 once, 11am Christmas morning going to LAX.

Los Angeles has the worst traffic in the United States, according to a study released Wednesday.
That’ll come as no big surprise to Angelenos, who sat in traffic for an average of 90 hours in 2013, and for every hour commute driven in peak periods, suffered 39 minutes of delay.

Playing scared now.

Eh, I think that would've been very close, and the out there was more critical (1st and 2nd no out in this situation would scare me a lot)...

Flores' defense, though, sigh.

Don't really like Syndergaard up alone either - having him relieve with a clean inning is bad enough, but he's not going to be ready within a couple hitters if he needs to be.

*edit

DeGrom has been fantastic all season, he just don't have fastball command tonight.
