His aneurysm occurred between periods in Vancouver. I remember it well (even though I didn't hear about it until the next day as it was a late night game and I was only 12.) Like now, the B's hardly ever played the Canucks back then, but they had played them in Boston about a week or so before the game in Vancouver and the Bruins won, 2-1. Trivia Question: Who was the player who got both goals that night? Normand Leveille

He sure was! Fast skater who could shoot and had a pugnacious toughness to him where he would check players before they were about to hit him in the corner. The great Fred Cusick used to laugh on air when he did this. I remember the game report from one of the Boston sportscasters, probably Mike Lynch, that he had suffered an apparent concussion. So wish it had been only that! But man, that team had talent with Nifty, Pederson, Bourque, Park and others and could've won it all if Leveille had continued his rise to stardom.

I always thought His number should be retired by the bruins. At least in an unofficial/official way by not giving it out again.
