6/7 though admittedly I knew one of them before the pitch was thrown based on the information given (it was a well publicized incident, shall we say). The one I missed was where I think is naturally the hardest ones to call, down in (or out of) the zone.

That was fun. I missed the first and the last one. I'm headed to the minors.

6/7, that last borderline pitch was tough. But I'm going to the world series so sign me up for some of those first class tickets (which I won't report to the IRS).

(Oops, that IRS scandal was the NBA, I'm an idiot. But that makes me think a more interesting game would be to be an NBA ref.)

7/7. To be fair though I’m pretty sure this is easier than in real life, particularly because you’re not blocked by the catcher. Nevertheless some of those missed calls are absolutely brutal on the replay.

But in one way, harder - you can’t actually see the belt or any other details of the batter for reference. 6/7, which is worse than the overall actual umps’ average. To be fair, you’d have to be perfect to be better.

I got them all right. But I do think a mini-game where you get to call a whole game’s worth of pitches would be fun - I suspect I’d be much worse than an actual ump when the sample size increased.

7/7 any of the ones cutting the width of the zone and diving were really hard to settle on my choice.

I officially got 4 out of the 7 but one was a miss-click on my part, so I'm going with "I got 5 out of 7".

Bring on the robot umps please!

7/7, but hesitated for a moment on that last one, and had to draw on a little bit of gut/watching a lot of games. Held my breath a little as I clicked the button.

7/7. Sixth one was the closest to getting me to flip flop.

I got 5-7 but for this to be more accurate, it needs the pitch to cross the plate and then be pulled towards the zone by an invisible catcher.
