Between here and everywhere.
At this point, I don't care about this kid and whether he does / doesn't have an NHL career. In an ideal world, I'd want him to be forced to face the victim of his abuse and muster an actual, honest-to-goodness apology for the hell he's put this kid through. I'd also want him to be forced to spend time with victims of bullying and similar abuse to drive home how destructive to one's psyche bullying behavior can be. That, along with years of volunteer work, is the only thing that would convince me this isn't just another jock shithead using his status as a hotshot prospect to walk over whomever he wants.

Having said that - based on the reports of Miller tauntingly rollerblading by the kid's house even after the court case, and the lack of remorse observed by adults around him, I would be none too disappointed if he were to have his UND scholarship revoked and eventually get Matt Cooke'd in whatever league he washes up in.
Call him up to the NHL for one game - against Vegas or the Sharks

Let Ryan Reaves or Evander Kane welcome him to the NHL.

I hope this closes the door for good for him, but I'm afraid this will surface again in 2-4 years, if he's any good, and someone else tries to sign him.

He's a mediocre prospect (third round projection), so the odds of him making the NHL and being more than a JAG are pretty low.

I hope they follow up with the Meyer-Crothers family. Something to help Isaiah with his schooling or his daily living needs. If they are hockey fans, some tickets and signed gear would be a nice addition.
I randomly received sticks signed by Seguin and Pavelski in the mail from the Dallas Stars Foundation that I'd be happy to give them.

(Sorry dixielandbandana, I couldn't resist.)

wonder if UND follows suit...
And the US National Team. As of a few days ago, he was still on their invitation list for the WJC camps. I have no idea if he's good enough to play for them, but he obviously shouldn't. Of course, this is the same organization that hired John Vanbiesbrouk, so...

I just learned about this today and got caught up. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach and this has brought up so many bad memories of similarly terrible things that happened in my youth.

I hope this kid hits rock bottom, but more importantly, I hope his shitstain parents suffer more.

Orr's statement is laughably untrue and is the result of either willful ignorance or is an outright lie. I have lost respect for him.

I think Bobby Orr is a genuinely nice guy. Unfortunately, he must possess a level of naivete and projection of his own feelings that blinds him to people with bad intentions. You would think his dealings with Alan Eagleson would have made him a little more cynical and tuned into con men, but here we are.

This is who he is, and it's been known for a long time.

He was a great skater, and one of the best of all time. That doesn't make him a good person.
I disagee with this. I have friends of friends who have a disabled son. Bobby Orr has gone and done amazing things for this family including paying for this kid's education. I don't know why this election is driving people so crazy. Unlike other Trumpets, I truly believe Orr has a good heart.
