I recently became aware of a lot of old Red Sox game footage (including a few near-complete games) on YouTube from the 1968-71 period -- probably about 20 hours of partial games. It looks like it was posted in June. All of it is the Red Sox telecast, with Ken Coleman, Ned Martin and Johnny Pesky. If anyone knows where this might have come from I would be interested in knowing. I would also be interested if there was more, from any team.

There are 17 videos, and they seem to be 1-2 hours each. Here is the first one, and you can get to the rest from here.

where I was last at
These are cool. In Montage #3 at about the 30 minute mark there is an interview, Ned Martin and Tony C (opening day '69 his first game back after getting beaned in '67 and missing '68, and he went 2-4 with a dinger) after a Sox win 12 inning. And Tony C talks about the day, feelings, facing pitching etc. Real good stuff. Must see TV of two iconic figures from Sox history.

Also there's a 6/15/69 video of Sox and the A's. This was a day after a historic A's ass-kicking of the Sox with Reggie Jackson going 5-6 2HRs and rbi. I wonder if the 6/14/69 game is there.

Going to be fun poking around to see what's there.

Great find

This is spectacular. I so wish that Ned's son, Rollie, who died of cancer earlier this summer on the Cape, could have seen this. Rollie was a huge Sox fan (he and I were classmates at Wellesley High), and he reveled in listening and watching old tapes featuring his father, Ned.
